Weekend Getaways
Wash away the stress with a weekend stay Up North.
Make it for getting in shape, getting reacquainted or just because you need it. There is so much to do or NOT do, that a weekend getaway will be just a sampler, encouraging you to come back. In Northern Michigan, you can enjoy the great outdoors in every season with fishing in spring when the streams and rivers beckon, golfing in summer, or hunting in fall. Weekend ski packages are aplenty at the many resorts throughout the regions. Of course, for the adventuresome, just grab your skis and snow shoes and chart your own course.
A weekend on the water could mean you bring or rent a boat and bring your own crew, or take a memorable 2-3 day cruise on the schooner Manitou, one of the largest sailing vessels on the Great Lakes. Imagine discovering the beauty of Grand Traverse Bay, from the deck of a majestic sailing vessel.
These are just a sampling of the wonderful things that you can do up North. Empty your mind of the stress-filled world and fill it with wonderful, new memories of time in Northern Michigan.
