Getting wet and having fun can take place no matter the season?at several state of the art water parks. They are an ideal way for the whole family to have fun.

Indoor Water Parks:

Boyne Mountain's Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark is themed as a Swiss-Austrian village which transports guests to a wonderland with slides, rides, kid’s pools, climbing wall, lazy river, and even a surf simulator. Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City features a 38,000 square-foot indoor water park with eight waterslides, five pools, two whirlpools and a four-story, 12-level interactive Tree House Water Fort. AmericInn Lodge & Suites in Munising is home to Splash Bay Adventure, an indoor recreation center with pool, 110-foot figure-8 water slide, a wading pool with water slide, whirlpool and sauna. Hamilton Inn in Mackinaw City has a large indoor/outdoor waterpark facility.

Outdoor Water Parks:

Crystal Mountain has the Park at Water’s Edge, a one-acre, outdoor water playground. The highlight is the 4,200 square-foot pool, with a water playground structure, a 32-foot climbing wall, a sand play area and an outdoor hot tub that is open year round.  Thunder Falls Family Water Park in Mackinaw City features twenty acres of thrills including 12 world-class slides and a Lazy River and a wave pool with 4-foot waves.
